Investigation: Home Tactile Map

1. Photos and notes

2. Symbolic "vocabularies" for textures and the home map

3. Reflection

I think the overall experience is very interesting and fun, and I learned following things:
1. I tend to use a square frame and then draw the texture. I remember I saw how interior design and industrial design student collect materials.
2. We are so used to use our eyes to absorb things surround us and sometimes can easily forget about other senses. Background with a little bit industrial design, materials are super important to the product. It's just we have done so many digital design, and I gradually forget about the texture, the material, and the power of tactile experiences.
