PROJECT WEEKLY POST

1. What did I plan to do?
2. What did I do?
3. Brief description of the activities (include photos, notes, sketches, working docs, and deliverables...whatever you created. Document both the output AND the process.)
4. What worked well?
5. What would I do differently next time?
6. What surprised me (excited me, freaked me out, thrilled me)
7. What I plan to do next week.

1. What did I plan to do?

- Build personas;
- Sync up with Kate and discuss about the pivot;
- Iterate our design based on our feedback.

2. What did I actually do & Brief description of the activities (include photos, notes, sketches, working docs and deliverables...whatever you created. Document both the output AND the process.)

- Built the parent persona based on our 5 interviews

- Synced up with Kate. And asked Gretchen for feedback, she worked on diabetes industry as well.

- Designed 2.0 version based on our previous feedback and discussions. Link (please click page 2.0): https://www.figma.com/file/qLvoa66C47bS25cCXZDcFQ/Routine-Ninjia?node-id=0%3A1

3. What worked well?

I asked a lot of people for feedback both about the pivot and the design, and they gave me a lot of inspiring thoughts. I did thought a lot of my next step, and I will talk to Liam tomorrow to get some answers.

5. What would I do differently next time?

I knew the pivot last Sunday, and I told Liam that I would keep working on the design iteration and persona building first. And we made an agreement that I would sync up with Kate and get some suggestions. I think this week I did what I was supposed to do.

6. What surprised me (excited me, freaked me out, thrilled me)

I know that in the real world setting, design matters but it won't be the key drive for a company. I understand but I haven’t thought about it would be this fast...

And this makes me realized that as a designer, we should keep learning, not only about design but also engineering and business. I am looking at Carnegie Mellon Master of Integrated Innovation for Products & Services (MIIPS) program. It looks really interesting ; )

7. What I plan to do next week.

I will discuss with Liam and get answers I want to get. Let's see how it goes : )
