PROJECT WEEKLY POST

1. What did I plan to do?
2. What did I do?
3. Brief description of the activities (include photos, notes, sketches, working docs, and deliverables...whatever you created. Document both the output AND the process.)
4. What worked well?
5. What would I do differently next time?
6. What surprised me (excited me, freaked me out, thrilled me)
7. What I plan to do next week.

1. What did I plan to do?

- Draft out task flows;
- Update wireframes;
- Review with Kate.

2. What did I actually do & Brief description of the activities (include photos, notes, sketches, working docs and deliverables...whatever you created. Document both the output AND the process.)

- Drafted out task flow
- Updated wireframes
Click here to check out the image1. Finished key parents' flow;
2. Included some edge cases;
3. Improved the interaction design of our key features;
4. Listed out problem areas under each screen based on Kate's feedback.

3. What worked well?

Our progress has improved a lot. And we are ready to test our prototype ask people for feedback.

5. What would I do differently next time?

I would finish design stories, task flows and then goes to wireframes. I was a little bit lost when the digital product becomes more and more complicated. But I'm so glad that Kate helped me so much : ) Thanks Kate!!

6. What surprised me (excited me, freaked me out, thrilled me)

I thought I might feel a little bit frustrated with figuring out edge cases and "error flows", but I pretty enjoy the design process. I am indeed involving the real-world work and the work is a little bit different from school projects, but I feel more proud of myself now. I am doing the real-world design that tackles real-world problems for people, and this is what I am truly passion about :) That's a big step in my personal growth. I can imagine that I would be very excited about the senior thesis show next year.

7. What I plan to do next week.

- Fix problems that Kate brought up on Friday;
- 6+ basic usability tests.
